From the stoplight on the Trans Canada #1 Highway at Virden, head North onto Commonwealth Drive. Travel approximately 1 mile to the stop sign (intersection of Commonwealth Drive & Hwy. 259). Turn East on Hwy 259 and travel approximately ¾ of a mile. On the left (North) there will be a white sign that reads “Virden Municipal & Industrial Waste Facility” by a gravel road. Proceed North on the gravel road for the entire distance of the road (approximately 4 miles) and it will take you directly to the landfill.

Effective July 1st, 2013 Secure-Energy Services will be charging onsite for municipal solid waste, construction and demolition, and wood products.
There is now a $10.00 minimum charge collected at the gate on all refuse taken in. The Landfill will accept cash, debit, and Visa/MasterCard payments.
