The Virden Farmers Market is a very successful rural market. It launched in 1989 and has maintained a very solid nucleus of vendors since its inception. There is a wide variety of items available including baking, fresh produce, honey, meat, jewelry, wood furniture, cleaning products, etc.

Offering annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees and vegetable plants, Westwood Ranch is the place to go for all your gardening needs.

An exciting addition to the 2023 season will be a craft vendors market and flea markets on Saturday and Sundays.

Eternal Springs

Eternal Springs is located 7 miles directly east of Virden and includes 2 small stocked trout ponds, a 66-foot swinging bridge, BBQ pits, hiking trails, and day-use picnic areas. The site is maintained by local volunteers.

Located one mile south of Kenton of PTH No. 21 and 1/2 mile west, the site of the Kenworth Dam has been developed for camping, swimming, and fishing.
